Amardeep Saran, a muscular guy with undulating muscles is an engaging actor with boundless enthusiasm for the process of creating a character from the page to the screen.
Destiny decides your fate and this holds true for Amardeep as well who after completing his degree in Physiotherapy chose acting as a career.
Amardeep was always fascinated by acting, so after completing his degree in physiotherapy, he joined RMIT School of acting to hone his skills and to make a mark in film industry.
With his macho looks and fine acting skills, Amardeep – an Indian Australian heartthrob is now all set to rule the showbiz.
Born in Amritsar and brought up in Melbourne, Amar’s parents migrated from India in 80s. From his very childhood, Amar was obsessed towards the silver screen and always wanted to become an actor. So after completing his studies he decided to give a fair go to his passion and joined RMIT and soon offers started pouring in.
That was the turning point of his life and now this Melbourne based guy is busy with his shoots and film assignments.
“After completing a course in acting, offers started pouring in. My dream became reality when I was offered a role in short film ‘Bride Redemption. After that I got another offer from Jordan Wipell for his film ‘Act of love’. My whole world is changed now and I am doing what I love the most,” says Amar.
Amar’s work gave him recognition and he was noticed by Melbourne based Film and Theatre director, Alex Singh who was then looking for Indian-Australian face to cast in his Musical Play “Goddess of Hindustan” played nationally.
“His acting skills are amazing and being an Australian from Indian origin, he was close fit to the character in my play. Amar’s biggest challenge was to deliver dialogues in Indian language and typically Indian accent. So to make sure, I did a Short musical play on SBS radio before the actual play to test his vocals. Hard work paid off and his performance in Goddess of Hindustan was highly appreciated by audience”, says Alex Singh, Melbourne based Film and Theatre director.
Amar’s character in ‘Goddess of Hindustan’ also won him special award by Darebin Council on Australia Day.
Amar’s dream is to make his parents proud by winning awards like IIFA or BAFTA and he is working rigorously for that.
Amar has signed two Bollywood films with Alex Singh and is working hard to conceive the characters of both the films.
